Visor Cards Are Available
The NH Deaf or Hard of Hearing Driver Card was launched in 2019. The visor card helps people who are deaf or hard of hearing to communicate with police during traffic stops. Laminated cards can be picked-up at the NH DMV, local police departments, and Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (NDHHS). If you can’t grab a card in person, you can call NDHHS and they will mail one to you free of charge.
