504 in the 603

Headshot of Zoey, a teen girls with light skin tone and long brown hair. Zoey is wearing a crown and sash. We have been partnering with Miss Lake Sunapee Region’s Outstanding Teen, Zoey Piccolo, to educate students, families, and educators about what 504 learning plans are, how to advocate for a student who has or may need one, and to destigmatize 504s.

As a student with a 504 plan, Zoey’s goal is to break the stigma of having a plan so it is easier for students to discuss their needs openly and have them met without resistance or ridicule.
