The Department of Education and the Rights of Students with Disabilities

Late last week, President Trump issued an executive order to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education (DOE). While our staff and legal experts across the country review this order and its potential to threaten the educational rights and protections of students with disabilities, we want to make clear that:
