Our Mission: Disability Rights Center – New Hampshire (DRC-NH) is dedicated to the full and equal enjoyment of civil and other legal rights by people with disabilities.

What we do

  • Free legal advice and assistance with disability-related legal issues
  • Legal representation on a sliding fee scale (free for most)
  • Class action litigation to create system-wide change
  • Policy change through legislative and administrative efforts
  • Investigations of abuse or neglect of individuals with disabilities
  • Monitoring the rights and safety of disabled people in facilities and schools
  • Outreach, training, and community engagement

Disability Rights Center – New Hampshire is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating barriers for people with disabilities across New Hampshire. DRC is the federally designated protection and advocacy agency for New Hampshire and has authority under federal law to conduct investigations in cases of probable abuse or neglect.
