Justice in School Discipline – Investigating Discriminatory Practices. Advocating for Students’ Rights.

We recently launched a project investigating harmful trends relating to the high rates of exclusionary discipline of students with disabilities. We will be advocating for change in targeted school districts to ensure that all students with disabilities receive the education and support they are entitled to under the law.

Is your child being unfairly disciplined at school because of their disability? Have they been:

  • Suspended?
  • Expelled?
  • Forced into shortened school days or home-based instruction?
  • Restrained or secluded?
