DRC-NH Honored with Conservation Excellence Award

The Nature Conservancy award invite

Nature’s champions come in many forms and the Conservation Excellence Awards honor individuals, organizations, and agencies that have made remarkable contributions to conservation in the Granite State.  We are honored that the Staff and Trustees of The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire selected DRC-NH with a Conservation Excellence Award – Conservation Partner.

Over the past year, we have worked with The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire (TNC) in its effort to design and build a universally accessible trail through the Manchester Cedar Swamp Preserve.  Planning for the All Persons Trail is winding up and construction will begin this summer.

You can learn more about how we worked with TNC to gather input from the community so that the new trail truly serves everyone at www.nature.org/en-us/get-involved/how-to-help/places-we-protect/manchester-cedar-swamp-preserve.
