Edition: Winter/Spring 2024: Person-Centered Planning

In this issue we look at what person-centered planning is – and isn’t – and why it is important that New Hampshire reimagine what it means to support people with disabilities in living a self-determined life. We encourage our readers to reflect on what person-centered means to them and invite conversation about how we can advocate for systems that reflect authentic choice.

In Memory of Denis Greenwood, NH advocate for recreation and education

Denis believed that individuals with lived experience of intellectual and developmental disabilities were life-long learners. He spent many years advocating for resources and educational opportunities to be provided to adults who did not have access to formal education as children.
